Protestors Raid Bush/Cheney Headquarters In Orlando

This is the kind of stuff that will hurt democrats. The politics of anger and protest doesn't reach voters anymore. They don't like anything that looks like whining. The union movement is officially dead as well. Whatever gains they are making in the service sector are limited. It's just a "niche" market for the union bosses. And the new overtime rules benefit the working mother who needs flexibility more than hurts her paycheck.

story here: "One of the protestors said she wanted to send a message.

'We want to send a clear message to Bush, we want him to take his hands off our overtime pay,' protestor Esmeralda Heuilar said.

. . .most of the protestors were from the AFL-CIO and were taking part in one of 20 other coordinated protests around the country.

A spokesperson with the AFL-CIO told Local 6 News that the Orlando protest did not go as planned."
